This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and dynamic individual to join a rapidly growing leisure management company.

This Social Enterprise provides a range of diverse cultural, sporting and physical activities throughout East Devon and South Somerset.

Their trading subsidiary deals with the commercial activities at the Trust’s entertainment venues on Exmouth seafront.

They are now seeking a Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the Chief Executive and
Executive Management Team (EMT), with emphasis on the management of meetings, reports and monitoring progress of resulting action points.

You will have previous PA/ secretarial experience within an executive environment and be highly organised, proactive and have excellent administration skills.

Initially this is a part time role that can provide flexibility in the working hours but the suitable candidate must be available for key daytime meetings.

Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Management of meetings, including booking of venues, production of agendas and the collation and inclusion of required reports; taking and producing minutes and action points.
- Proactively monitor the progress of actions on behalf of the CEO, ensuring that the respective individuals are kept aware of allocated actions and deadlines.
- Organise operational, client and ad-hoc meetings and events on behalf of the CEO, including diary management and travel arrangements.
- Liaise with the CEO and EMT members to assist with the production and circulation of key documents and reports, including the corporate Risk Register, Strategic Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan(s), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management reports.
- Dealing with emails, correspondence and ‘phone calls on behalf of the CEO, particularly with key clients, stakeholders and Trustees.
- Delegating and monitoring tasks to EMT and the Leisure Management Team (LMT) on behalf of, or in the absence of, the CEO.

Essential attributes:

- Previous PA/secretarial experience within an executive environment
- Four GCSE Grade B or equivalent, including Mathematics and English
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office – excel, word and email
- Competent in minute taking
- Excellent administration skills
- Discretion & confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team
- Full driving license & own transport
