This Founder is in charge of the company’s operations and frequently travels to present at conferences and within the media. Due to his workload and visible presence on social media, he requires a personal assistance to make the best use of his limited time.

They are looking for a personal assistant who will acquire intimate knowledge of both the Founder’s private matters as well as their organisations. The ideal personal assistant will understand that life is a frantic mix of business, personal and family life all rolled into one. The personal assistant will need to know and relate to key personnel, actively participating in supporting the Founder’s personal aims and objectives.

Personal Assistant Responsibilities
- Screening emails, phone calls and requests across social media
- Proactively defining and actioning all necessary tasks to ensure the Founder’s success
- Run ad-hoc personal errands for the Founder, both at home and at work
- Organising background research, presenting findings and producing documents at the Founder’s discretion.
- Organising and maintaining diaries and appointments.
- Arranging travel, visas and accommodation, occasionally, travelling with the Founder for meetings
- Organising and attending meetings, ensuring the Founder is well prepared for said meetings
- Managing The Founder's personal Charity associations plus the company wide Charity strategy and activity.
- Processing of personal and work expenses.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff in order to ensure the Founder’s time is protected

Personal Assistant Qualifications
- It is imperative that you demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative
- No ego, a tough skin is one of the the job’s challenges
- A capability to manage different projects as needed and carry out necessary research on personal tasks
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages (OSX)
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines matching organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with complex personalities including the manager’s family and friends.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Discretion and a deep understanding of confidentiality issues.
- Native or Fluent English a must, other languages (French preferred) a plus.
- You must be comfortable with dogs
