A well-established firm of chartered accountants based in South Liverpool are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The applicant
- Minimum 2 years experience working within a bureau/practice environment
- Detailed knowledge of current payroll legislation and auto-enrolment process
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with our client base along with HMRC
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Experience with Moneysoft Payroll Manager preferred

The role
Working in a team of two, key duties will include;
- Processing mixed volume payrolls on a weekly, four-weekly and monthly basis for our varied client portfolio
- RTI monthly and weekly submissions
- Dealing with pensions auto-enrolment on behalf of clients
- Administer weekly/monthly submissions to client pension providers such as NEST
- Calculation and processing of statutory claims such as SMP, SPP, SSP etc
- Preparation of monthly CIS returns
- Dealing with monthly/year end CIS deductions and sufferance
- PAYE scheme administration from opening new schemes to closing old
- Processing new starters, leavers and production of P45s
- Running year end processes and production of P60s
- P11D completion
- Awareness of NLW rates and ability to advise clients accordingly

Full time hours
Salary £20,000 to £22,000 plus benefits
