This company is currently looking to recruit a Payment Application Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team, based from their offices in Sheffield or Welwyn Garden City.

As part of the Payment Application technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support across all production Payment Processing Applications. Working closely with their development team, you will also be responsible for Release and Deployment to the production environment.

Being a part of the FinTech division there will be opportunity to expand and further develop your knowledge and skills across a variety of Payment Applications and become an integral part of their expanding Payments Processing business.

Role Summary:
- Manage and resolve incident tickets assigned to the Payments Application Technical Support team
- Support Major Incident fault resolution
- Plan and support of Release and Change Management activities in production environments
- Support Problem Management and root cause analysis
- Responsible for application housekeeping and maintenance tasks
- Become an SME on supported systems, applications and services
- Production and update of service documentation
- Support PCI compliance
- Support Disaster Recovery activities
- Partake in 24/7 on-call rota
- Provide training, knowledge transfer and ongoing support for Service Desk Analysts.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Payments industry or Payment Application systems
- Previous experience within a Payments testing and / or application support environment
- Previous experience supporting or administering at least one of the following applications:
o ACI Postilion
o Lusis Tango
o NCR Authentic
- Experience working in Windows and / or Linux OS environments
- Experience with MSSQL (writing queries, setup and management of maintenance
task, tuning, administering of database etc.)
Ideally you will also possess the following, but not essential:
- Knowledge of, or previous experience using Remedy
- ITIL certification
