They are looking to recruit a new Participation Manager to lead their Activities Department as the staff member holding the post has secured a senior role at another university.

As the Participation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a diverse program of activities across their 100+ Sports Clubs, General Societies and Academic Societies, managing a team of permanent staff, placement students and casual student staff. The Participation Manager will set clear performance indicators, manage budgets and effectively promote opportunities to all students.

The successful candidate will also play an important role in continuing the development of their Academic Societies by generating genuine engagement with students and deepening relationships with key University staff.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive matched pension contributions of up to 6%, starting annual leave allowance of 25 days (growing to a maximum of 30 days) plus bank holidays, a week off at Christmas and a day off for your Birthday.
