Sales Ledger Assistant

- Part time 25 hours per five day week (9.30am to 2.30pm)
A vacancy has arisen for a part time Sales Ledger Assistant to join this Finance team in their Slough office.
The Sales Ledger Assistant will be responsible for maximising cash collection and maintaining DSO target as set by the Financial Controller. The responsibilities also include processing all transactions on customer accounts in a timely manner and ensuring all customer information is up to date, complete and accurate.
The job holder will look after new customer credit application forms, ensuring credit checks are completed. Duties also include releasing orders in line with company policy, performing daily invoice run together with uploading invoices onto customer portals and running monthly statements. The Sales Ledger Assistant will also maintain the department mailbox, post cash received and perform daily bank reconciliations.
You must have experience of credit control and office administration. You must also possess good communication skills and be computer literate with good working knowledge of Word and basic Excel. You will have the ability to work in a team environment and be able to plan to complete tasks accurately, meeting the deadlines and with attention to detail.
