A leading Trowbridge based Financial Planning Practice requires an experienced Paraplanner (hours to be agreed) to strengthen the technical support team.
Candidates must have experience of working in a Financial Planning environment and have excellent technical knowledge of Pension, Investment, and Tax Planning for private clients. The main function of the role is to provide direct support to the Financial Planners, working within the technical support team along other Paraplanners and the technical administrators.

The role of the Paraplanner is to act as a bridge between client meetings and the implementation of agreed recommendations. It is a function which supports and informs the work of the financial planners. In particular, the role involves:
- Acting as co-ordinator and case manager.
- Designing appropriate solutions.
- Challenging the assumptions of the financial planner.
- Preparing all necessary documentation on behalf of the financial planner.
- Providing technical support to the financial planner.
- Delegation of administration to the technical administrators.
- Ensuring recommendations are implemented.
You will:
- Have already attained the Certificate of Financial Planning or equivalent (CF1, CF2 and CF3).
- Be IT literate with Word, Excel and Outlook, preferably with experience of Prestwood Software.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Be organised, work efficiently and with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrate ability to work using your own initiative and be part of a team.
- Be competent at managing a varied workload.
