A Paid Search Marketing Manager is required to join digital marketing experts within the legal sector.

They are currently running paid search projects for around 30 clients, and this number is growing. You will work closely with our Production team, Account Managers & Search Marketing Managers but primarily you will be responsible for developing, managing and optimising campaigns across Google, Bing and social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and more.

Using your enthusiasm for online media, proven track record in PPC & your communication skills, you’ll help shape the performance of new and existing accounts whilst providing a high level of client service.

Main Responsibilities

1. Campaign planning, creation & implementation
- Formulate client campaigns against objectives, including keyword research
- Review client’s websites & landing pages, make recommendations of what needs to be done to maximise conversions
- Liaise with clients so that they understand what the campaign will entail

2. Campaign management & reporting
- Responsible for the day to day management, including but not limited to; keyword management, campaign structuring, targeting, ad writing and refinement, bid management and budgets, and configuration of goals
- Produce monthly reports for the client using Google Data Studio

3. Client facing activities
- Be a key member in client meetings alongside the Sales or Account Management team
- Grow your own personal profile as a credible industry expert in the legal sector
- Act as point of contact for general client questions around PPC

4. Internal profile
- Work closely with our Production team to shape our products, pushing best practice forward

5. Maintenance of professional knowledge
- Be aware of the latest developments in paid search & best practice
- Maintain a good knowledge of current developments & trends affecting the legal sector
- Stay up to date with all Google Professional exams
- Grow knowledge & expertise of our products and competitors

Required Skills
- At least 12 months’ experience of paid search (AdWords, Bing), remarketing & social network advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest & more)
- Experienced using the suite of paid search tools, plus Google Analytics, Tag Manager & Optimize
- Knowledge of best practice & principles of CRO & web marketing
- Google Partner certified
- Excellent organisational, project & time-management skills, managing multiple projects with varying budgets
- A basic understanding of the legal market, trends & services provided by lawyers/solicitors
- Confident talking to clients in detail about their business & requirements, with the ability to sell & convince
- Excellent knowledge of data manipulation & analysis using Excel
- Self-motivation and a desire to learn

Desirable Skills
- Producing reports using Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, Supermetrics and other tools as appropriate
- Experience of SEO, SEM & social media
