£25,000 - £35,000 + £10,000 OTE (uncapped)

A leading online UK business news provider is looking for a driven and experienced Outbound Sales Manager to promote and sell advertising and content marketing services to businesses in the UK.

The role will support the existing sales activity of the business with a direct focus on prospecting for new clients and generating new business by telephone, email and face-to-face appointments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales and is motivated by winning new business.

This new team-member will be expected to attend face-to-face sales meetings and networking events in the other regions.

The sales offer is made up of a range of products which include high value content marketing, digital advertising options, social media activity and email marketing.

There will be a strong element of outbound lead generation over the telephone, networking and sales meetings. The business requires an friendly, relationship-based sales approach but with an aggressive and driven appetite for new business.

You will:

- Prospect for potential new clients by telephone, email and face-to-face appointments
- Sell high value online advertising propositions to established brands
- Prepare and send out proposal documents based on prospective clients' requirements
- Work to monthly sales targets, as well as targets around prospecting
- Key account manage a client base

You should:

- Have an established network of clients who require digital marketing services
- Be confident in selling both on the telephone and in person
- Have experience of selling digital proposition to businesses
- Be target-driven and aggressive in generating business with new clients
- Be willing to travel outside of the NOrth East when required to pursue sales in other regions
