A leading online publisher requires a driven Outbound Salesperson to win new commercial clients for its popular digital marketing and advertising offering.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working to clear objectives and be motivated by achievement, both individually and as a team member. They should have a natural appetite to build and maintain strong client relationships and enjoy working in an evolving environment.

This role is office-based and the successful candidate will be joining an experienced sales team, selling packages to clients across various regions of the UK.

The successful candidate will:

- Prospect for new business by telephone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
- Sell a range of proven digital advertising and marketing options
- Attend regional networking events and build new client relationships
- Account manage existing and new key clients
- Occasionally travel to regions outside of the North East
- Contribute to the wider sales strategy of the business

We are looking for someone that:

- Has demonstrable sales experience
- Is enthusiastic to generate new leads themselves
- Is confident in selling an online proposition
- Is an excellent communicator, in-person and by email
- Is willing to travel for client meetings and events
- Has a positive attitude to sales and winning new business

Benefits include a generous holiday allowance and flexibility on working hours, as well as uncapped commission for this role. Basic salary will be determined by the experience level and attributes of the candidate, with an element of OTE in the form of commission.
