This world leader in electrochemistry is looking for a Full or Part time Sales Order Processor to expand their existing team. The ideal applicant will possess experience in taking and processing sales orders efficiently with high levels of professionalism, good telephone skills, good computer sills and be accurate, tidy and well organised. Ideally the suitable candidate will have gained some experience in a similar role involving internal sales and order processing.
Working in a busy, friendly internal sales environment, communicating with customers and processing orders.
With excellent telephone manner combined with good computer skills, accurate, tidy and well organised, with experience in internal sales and order processing.
Location: You will be based at their offices in Leighton Buzzard.
Your role will include, but not be restricted to:
- Receive sales orders via email (outlook) fax and telephone and to process these using Encore software.
- Complete orders efficiently and accurately ready for despatch to their customers.
- Send order acknowledgements to customers.
- Accurately maintain and expand their customer database using their CRM system.
- Update the Area Sales Managers with incoming sales and enquiries from customers.
- Prepare and send quotations to customers by email.
- Cover other areas of your team during holidays and absence.
- Administrative duties as required to back up the Sales function.
- With proven experience in a similar role, the successful applicant will be confident, with good communication and numeracy skills. You will also be proficient with Microsoft - Excel and Word. A flexible approach and the ability to multi-task is also essential as no two days are the same in this busy environment.
