This is an opportunity to work on a fast-paced high profile, cross Government project that will underpin how corporate services are managed. Their client is currently working to deliver a Cloud Based Oracle solution called Metis for finance, HR and procurement services. This will replace the Department’s current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The Home Office is the pathfinder for other departments across Government considering transition to cloud-based services. You will work as part of a team that delivers the smooth transition to Metis.

Although this role is based in Croydon, it may involve a degree of travel within the UK. You will be required to attend the frequent Metis design workshops which predominantly take place in Croydon. The contract is from Jan 2019 to May 2019 and is outside IR35.

Key responsibilities:
- To contribute to and support the design, development and implementation of creative, appropriate and effective training materials.
- To deliver key aspects of the training cycle from conception through to development, delivery and evaluation.
- To ensure that all assigned training modules are delivered to agreed quality, timescales and budget.
- To contribute to the evaluation of training effectiveness on a regular basis and ensure that all changes required are made to the training material and/or delivery mode.
- To consolidate training and knowledge transfer material required to support team through the various programme phases.
- To work closely with third parties to deliver training and learning support.

Desirable knowledge and skills:
- Training experience essential
- Previous experience of delivering large scale change in a complex project or programme environment.
- Confident presentational skills and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to engage with business stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of developing and delivering high quality instructor led, videos, self-study content and e-learning for different stakeholder groups covering business process and technical change.
- Experience of an Oracle Cloud Implementation is preferable although not essential
- Knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS), CX and HR Self Service would be an advantage
- Demonstrate a high standard of IT proficiency, particularly MS Office packages – specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
