This company are a leading supplier of connectivity, telecoms systems and cloud based management solutions.

The Operations Manager will lead, manage and develop the Service Delivery teams in the organisation. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of the following technologies; broadband, leased lines, wireless and cloud hosting.
This is a key position within their Company and as a member of the senior management team you will report directly to the MD.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and delivery of support and solutions for - Network and Managed Service customers in line with ITIL and/or industry best practice.
- Work closely with projects coordinator to plan and oversee the day to day activities of the team whilst consistently looking to improve effectiveness, productivity and performance.
- Research new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency – reporting findings to MD..
- Identify any skills gaps in the service delivery team and ensure all engineers have the necessary skills and support to carry out their roles.
- Work with the procurement coordinator to maintain and develop strategic partnerships with third party suppliers and all company stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for all service arrangements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the network and service management function ensuring service management and review frameworks are in place.
- Respond to customer feedback and complaints in line with company ISO standard, and take responsibility for customer escalations.
- Implement continual service improvements with the objective of becoming a world class network and managed service provider.
- Work alongside sales team to ensure accurate delivery and handover of new products and services to customers.
- Develop systems and operating procedures to ensure that problems are swiftly identified and resolved.
- Contribute to short and long term organisational planning strategy.
- Add value to strategic departmental decisions focussing on business growth and improvements.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Skills & Experience:
You will have worked in an Operations or Project Management role ideally within an external, customer facing ISP/Network/Managed Services background, and be able to demonstrate experience in developing and managing service delivery and support teams.
- Have a good level of commercial awareness
- Have strong leadership and people management skills
- The ability to see the bigger picture as well as the finer details
- Understand the importance of delivering exceptional service
- Have solid technical understanding of networking and hosting solutions
- Be able to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be adept at problem solving and adapting to ever changing environments.
