This business is pleased to announce this new position which is a joint initiative with their key partner Enterprise Holdings and situated within their Head Office in Blanchardstown, Dublin. This position is in their Motorcare Division where we mange motor claims on behalf of leading insurers, brokers, fleet customers in their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day to day activities to ensure the delivery of a quality service which meets SLAs
- Manage staff resources, performance, costs
- Contribute to increased revenue by ensuring all staff are familiar with business objectives & KPIs
- Set performance objectives aligned to overall organisation objectives
- Provide guidance to Direct Reports and staff and champion knowledge sharing within the team
- Build and maintain positive relationships with departments, clients & customers
- Build clear communication channels within the team, & take advantage of successful initiatives from within and outside the business unit
- Responsible for monitoring & analysing customer satisfaction & service level targets
- Responsible for implementing corrective action where appropriate

Level of Autonomy and/or Decision Making:

- Overall responsibility for the management of the team.
- Responsibility of managing a budget and P&L.
- Role holder is able to make decisions regarding operational activities and the execution of tasks and is responsible for implementing the group strategy.
- Role holder plans activities and projects and seeks input from others, shares detailed reports and plans with other as required.
- Role holder to work closely with other members of the motor management team to achieve corporate goals.
- Role holder interfaces frequently with external parties and works with them to plan, develop or discuss activities and projects, i.e. new business implementation.

Experience:

- A Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a commercial insurance role within the motor insurance sector
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Data Protection Act (DPA) and its application
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Consumer Protection Code (CPC) and its application
- Application and understanding of Insurer philosophy.
- Up to date knowledge of legislation within the insurance industry
- Previous experience working in international insurance markets would be favourable
- Commercial mindedness and an ability to evaluate financial impacts to the business

Qualifications:

- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Professional insurance qualification, preferably ACII or working towards ACII, but CIP at a minimum is an essential requirement
