A truly Experiential Career Opportunity in Exhibitions for an Event Operations Manager.

Growth creates opportunity they are going from strength to strength and need to expand their Event operations and Project Management team, working from their modern facility in Coventry.

As the Operations Manager, you will ensure the successful, timely, and cost-effective planning and execution of shows, exhibitions and events. You will be fully versed in pre-show planning, production and operational delivery requirements for large exhibitions & major events, and other related sectors that they operate – with a sound knowledge of the experiential marketing landscape.

The Operations/Project Manager will be responsible for managing show and exhibition budgets and schedules, therefore excellent organisational skills are necessary whilst acting as an important link between production, client services and the exhibition build crews.

Exhibition Operations Manager - Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client and production services to deliver Best in Class Events and Stands.
- Direct the preparation of purchase orders, check requests, expense reports, and cross rentals.
- Work as part of the operations management team in delivering a 1st Class event.
- Ability to build operating plans, and manage build details such as stand plans, logistics, materials.
- Must be able to manage labour on site.
- Manage event budgets, and schedules.
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects to deliver successful exhibitions each time, every time.
- Develop work schedule based on client requirements for events, identifying all resources required.
- Communicate specific show requirements to all departments, identifying resources needed.
- Responsible for requesting appropriate staffing & labour, contractors and employees.
- Supervisory responsibilities during event build and in accordance with the policies and CDM.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:
- Methodical thinker, Process orientated and Strong Communicator.
- Experience within a Project Management or Operations role in the event industry.
- Quality orientated.
- Demonstrable experience to plan and optimize efficiencies and service delivery.
- Experience developing a culture of continuous improvement and Operational Excellence.
- Excellent Stakeholder management.
- Strong IT skills and computer literate (Microsoft excel and outlook)
- Self motivated and resilient.
