This company is looking to recruit an Operations Coordinator who will arrange DSEAR compliance services at Clients’ sites. Assess resource availability.

Skills & Experience:

- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Previous Coordination / Logistics / Operations role preferred
- Some industrial experience preferred
- UK Geographical knowledge helpful

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain an awareness of likely orders from the Clients and their timescales
- Gather sufficient project details from the original quotation, the Project Manager and the Sales team after a Client raises an order
- Coordinate changes to the planning schedule with customers and employees
- Maintain the overall company planning schedule
- Update site dates and delivery dates on the company database
- Book hotels and hire cars
- Check status of toolbox talks, risk assessment and method statement issue, invoices, next step proposals for each project.
- Confirm with engineers how many days work are left on each project.
- Report on resource capacity issues
- Book and plan in training courses
- Check timesheets are being completed by the team
- When requested support other team members to produce site files, final documentation and assist with sale enquiries.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company departments necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Monitor and report on personal times and activities.

Scope and Indicators:

Clients include food manufacturers, power stations, pharmaceuticals industries, petroleum industries and other commercial properties. No site visits will be required for this role.

Office: You are expected to be a proficient user of Microsoft office products.
Knowledge/Skill: You will be expected to gain a working understanding of the commercial requirements of our service. Territory: Mainly UK with occasional projects abroad.
