Part of this strategy is to further develop their delivered operation and provide best in class customer service and to this end they are now looking to recruit within the operation an Operations Co-ordinator.
This is a newly created role and a unique opportunity to truly make a positive difference to the smooth running of their day to day operations of this division. Within this role you will be the key company liaison between the operations, the depot, the drivers, Head Office and their customers. In addition, and of equal importance, you will be the face of the operation to their Supply Chain were you will carry out the function of the operations buyer, interacting with all Suppliers, generating promotional programmes and liaising with Head Office buyers regarding issues and opportunities.
To be a great success in this role, you must:-
- Be a great problem solver, never wanting to pass on an issue, ensuring an effective and efficient resolution every time
- Be super organised and plan ahead to ensure the day to day operations run smoothly in conjunction with the Sheffield Depot Management team and key personnel within the Head Office
- Be proactive with our Suppliers, ensuring we gain the most competitive terms and promotions
- Be a strong and confident communicator; everyone at all times must understand what the priorities of the day are, and it’s your role to ensure they do…but importantly you know what to do when things don’t quite go right
- Put the customer at the heart of everything you do; ensure best in class customer service is delivered with every operation delivery
