This is an opportunity to join London’s most innovative and caring environmental company.

They are looking for someone to join their busy company and provide administration support within their Operations and Transport functions. They need a highly organised individual to join and be part of the team.

They are happy to consider applications from anyone with a desire to learn and grow within Administration, Transport or Health & Safety. They do not require specific knowledge for this role, rather they are looking for someone with administration experience, who is assertive, keen, able to self-motivate, work methodically and logically through tasks, and has a keen eye for detail.

Their preferred hours for this role is for someone to work 11am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. A later shift may be considered. They would also consider a shorter shift for the right person.

Responsibilities:
- Debrief drivers after their shifts to collect information on how their day was – good and bad.
- Health and Safety administration and updating of the Accident Book.
- Ensure vehicles are left clean & tidy at the end of each shift and report any issues to line manager.
- Ensure the Sales Team gets previous day’s paperwork for processing as early as possible for customer billing.
- Update the Yard & Operations report daily.
- Provide Line Manager with daily/weekly/monthly report preparation.
- Provide ad hoc support for the COO as required.

Skills and Qualifications
- Computer literacy with ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in an administration assistant role preferable.
- Customer service experience preferable.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Good telephone manner.
- Ability to prioritise and communicate timescales.

Remuneration
- Annual basic salary of £21,550 per annum (pro-rata if working less than full time hours)
- 20 days leave, plus 8 days public holidays, accruing up to 25 days after 5 years’ service (pro-rata if working less than full time hours)
- Company pension scheme

Working Life
- Monday to Friday: 11am to 7pm (negotiable)
