This UK based B2C and B2B multi-channel e-commerce company is owned by an international trade and investment group. This company was established in 2010 to build on the groups expansion into the online consumer market. The group has extensive experience within product development and on the strength of this has opened branches and developed brands in America, Canada, France, Germany and Italy.

Main summary of the role

Within the position your main responsibilities will be to create and manage engaging content for marketing campaigns across various channels, such as, website content, online marketing, emails, blog posts, adverts and social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ etc. You will be familiar with the Google platform, as well as Google display network and remarketing. The engaging content will also ensure brand promotion on their third party retail sites such as Amazon, Ebay, Tesco, etc. You will be applying your strong working knowledge of SEO, SEM and PPC to ensure brands are effectively being promoted. You will also have demonstrable experience creatively writing with brand tonality whilst bearing guidelines in mind.

You will be liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth transition of workflow and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidates with knowledge of driving sales and rankings will have a distinct advantage. If you are able to speak a second language, please highlight this on your application, however this is by no means essential.

Key responsibilities

- Helping to create, manage, share and implement SEO, SEM and PPC strategies to improve organic performance, including keyword research and reporting that results in opportunity.
- Communicating with the sales team frequently to ensure any changes to products are updated.
- Working on, preparing and uploading materials for our e-commerce catalogue with full stock management including listing new and current products, whilst also managing old stock.
- Prepare materials/ promotions for other marketing media channels including social media.
- Have a keen eye for detail, proof reading and checking all materials meet the brand guidelines and are merchandised properly on the e-commerce platforms.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
- Assist with marketing research (prices, products, pictures, ranking, promotions, etc).
- To produce content that speaks to our consumers, connecting with them on a personal level whilst remaining on brand.
- To ensure the effective use of social media marketing.
- Support in building brand awareness.
