This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading specialist supplier of washroom related products and materials to commercial organisations throughout the UK.
Due to continued success and as part of their planned growth a vacancy exists for an Office Administrator at their head office in Poole, Dorset.

The business is a family run organisation boasting year on year growth, ideal for applicants looking for the opportunity for career progression.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the purpose of the role is to assist in the sales process by providing order processing and general administration support to a busy office. Liaison with customers and suppliers will be necessary to process orders and invoices effectively.

The role is full time with office hours from 8.30 – 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.

Working within a young and dynamic team your responsibilities will include:
- Packing orders and logging deliveries with couriers
- Estimating/quoting
- Responding to customer enquiries (predominantly telephone based) alongside sales team
- Placing supplier orders
- Taking customer payments & Submitting invoices
- Estimating/quoting
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Receive/Make telephone calls

While no formal accounting qualifications are necessary, GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) of English and Maths at grade C and above is expected.
Applicants must be PC literate, including use of Word, Excel and websites. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is good attention to detail and accuracy.
A good level of physical health will be required in order to pick/pack orders.

Previous experience working within an office environment is expected. Applicants should be team motivated.
In addition the role may involve other office duties as and when needed. As such, experience working within a close knit team and the ability to liaise and create relationships with customers and colleagues is necessary.

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 pa + bonus + standard holiday entitlement
