THE JOB:
The role will work in both a project delivery and 3rd line support capacity for multiple clients. You will design, configure, deploy, monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot on-premise and cloud-based cybersecurity and infrastructure solutions. There will be a requirement to work as required from client sites.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex, technology infrastructure projects including engaging directly with customers to define requirements, identify, design and deploy solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple technology solutions including:
+ Routing and switching, with overlay SDN technology
+ Cloud and Network, Azure/AWS, Multi Region & Multi-Tenant
Topologies, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, SNS, DNS, CDNs and WAFs
+ Firewalls systems
+ Both Windows and Linux

- Act as a strategic trusted advisor
- Maintain excellent understanding of relevant portfolio of solutions; monitoring global market developments, trends and competitors, to ensure solutions exploit current and future technologies
- Contribute to the practice strategy by proposing new services and solutions
- Mentor other engineers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:
- Extensive experience within Cloud Security and/or Secure Networking (Hybrid Cloud/SDN)
- Knowledge of routing and switching, with overlay SDN technology.
- Azure/AWS Experience and knowledge of Multi Region & Multi-Tenant Topologies, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, SNS, DNS, CDNs and WAFs
- Experience with firewalls systems (Cisco, FortiGate, Palo Alto)
- Experience with both Windows and Linux
- Professional and dynamic approach, a passion for delivering IT/Networking security solutions
- Ability to own and manage the scoping and definition of conceptual designs by understanding and translating customer business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to mentor other engineers
- High standard of written and verbal English

DESIRABLE:
- Lead complex, large scale projects, including pre-sales; engaging directly with customers to design solutions; define requirements, identify and develop solutions
- Act as a strategic trusted advisor
- Maintain excellent understanding of relevant portfolio of solutions; monitoring global market developments, trends and competitors, to ensure solutions exploit current and future technologies.
- Able to contribute to the technology strategy and suggest new service and solutions capabilities
- Familiar with relevant Security principles/frameworks (eg ISO, Cybersecurity)
- Strong documentation skills and experience delivering presentations
- Good commercial awareness
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, procedures and roadmap development
- Relevant industry or vendor certification/accreditations
