National Account Manager - Beauty

Location: London/ South East

Hours: Full time - Office and Field Based

Salary: £30,000, plus car allowance, bonus and benefits

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading skincare company as the National Account Manager. You will be in charge of Business Development across the UK with the key target of sales into Department Stores, National Chains & UK and European Based Ecommerce Platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Responsibility for new listings in Department stores, Perfumeries, Spas, Salons and Wholesalers

- Develop relationships with Head Office Buyers & Key Decision Makers to generate and maximise sales targets.

- Establish in-store space and devise the promotional plan, POS & merchandising

- Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends

- Leading the team at industry events, trade shows and brand conferences.

- Upon taking orders, carry out all necessary follow

- Travel within the UK to meet Beauty Buyers.

You must be prepared to work for a fast-paced, constantly developing company, you must be highly driven, outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

It is important to note that your performance will be judged on your ability to open new accounts and hit a minimum monthly sales target.

The role is office and field based, you will meet with your Line Manager in the Head Office, based in Islington, one afternoon each week.

For this position, they are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

- Experience in a similar role essential and FMCG background
- A keen interest in cosmetics and skin care is essential
- A background of sales & account management within beauty, aesthetic, hair, spa, skincare or fragrance sectors is desirable.
- Provide evidence of achievement of sales targets, increase in turnover of an established client base and expansion of portfolio.
- Be happy to divide work between an office environment and on the road, dealing with new customers.
