This company produces some of the nation’s favourite confectionery brands as well as being one of the biggest suppliers of retailer ‘own brand’ products in the UK, manufacturing high quality products at their 5 production facilities in the UK.
They are looking for Multi Skilled Engineers to be based at their highly successful Leicester facility, to join them in this exciting part of their journey. They offer an excellent package along with the opportunity for career progression.
This role will require you to work as part of the team on site, ensuring that all breakdowns are responded to and repaired efficiently and cost effectively, ensuring that PPM is undertaken in accordance with the schedule and all undertaken in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Your role will require understanding of both the mechanical and electrical operations of a manufacturing site, including, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of all the site’s equipment and machinery in all areas (process and packing). Diagnose and correct faults. Ensure on time completion of maintenance tasks and that relevant paperwork is completed to standard. Support the control of contractor requirements during project work and be able to utilise maintenance management software systems.
For your application to progress, they are looking for individuals who have extensive engineering experience within the manufacturing industry, (the food sector would be an advantage but not essential) you will be multi-skilled, with electrical experience and will have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload, whilst building constructive work relationships and work as part of a team.
Additional knowledge of TPM, and Lean processes would be a distinct advantage
