Fabrication & welding of stainless steel / carbon steel framework for Complex Systems including stands, skids and the fitting of systems where / when applicable to a high standard.
You will be required to fabricate & weld stainless steel / carbon steel stands and skids as per customer demand and production requirements. You must be flexible in working arrangements including overtime as and when necessary, ensuring that quality is never compromised even when working under pressure and you must be able to work to tight schedules and deadlines.
Some of the duties this role entails are as follows;
1. Fabricate & weld to manufacturing drawings skids and stands in both carbon and stainless steel.
2. Assembling of complex systems.
3. General upkeep and maintenance of welders and ventilation units.
4. Post weld paint preparation to ensure all components vacate the premises aesthetically pleasing.
5. Post weld grinding of stands and skids
N.B this list is not exhaustive, the job holder is required to carry out reasonable tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.
To be successful you need to have the following;
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Grinding experience
- Experience in using measuring equipment
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings competently
- Fitting skills
