Experienced Metal Polisher required by a long established, family run, high quality tray and trolley manufacturer in Peckham (Old Kent Road), London.
Working as part of a small (dedicated and cheerful) production team, the job will include careful belt linishing and spindle lathe finishing / polishing of aluminium components and trays, ready for anodising.
Experience working with aluminium is desirable, or ability to adjust and refine technique rapidly. Other metalworking experience / skill will be welcome, allowing flexibility to help with other manufacturing tasks, but is not essential.
Will also consider less experienced candidates who are willing to learn linishing and metal polishing skills and who demonstrate aptitude, interest and tolerance of demanding physical work.
An attractive salary is possible, matched to skill and experience. There is a good working environment, focused on a clean, spacious, bright and well ventilated polishing shop within a thriving small factory. Full-time assumed but part-time will be considered and is possible.
