Housing and Care Options Advisor – Mental Health
Based in North Manchester (M9) with extensive travel across Manchester
Grade 6: £24,657 - £28,221
Full Time - 35 hours
12 month Fixed Term Contract

This not-for-profit organisation manages up to 13,000 council homes in North Manchester and will be partnering with the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust to deliver this new and exciting project.

Are you looking for a new challenge in 2018?

Are you passionate about helping people who suffer with mental health conditions and are committed to ensuring that they can make informed & appropriate choices about their Housing and Care Options?

We’re looking for a committed, knowledgeable and experienced professional who has an excellent grasp of mental health conditions and mental health to be able to work independently within the Manchester Move Housing Options service. You will need to deliver an outcome focused advice & support service across Manchester working with individuals, their families and external agencies.

This is a new post, funded by the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust, with the aim of providing advocacy, support, information and advice about Housing and Care options to people living with mental health conditions.

You will have a proactive and patient approach to your work and a real flair for understanding underlying needs and working to meet and exceed expectations. Working in partnership with others to get the right outcome for customers underpins everything you do.

You will be equally as comfortable talking 1-1 in a person’s home, practically helping someone move house or working with a group of professionals looking at a person’s wider needs. You will work agilely across the city with access to your own vehicle and relevant business insurance.
