We are looking for a permanent community support worker who is able to provide personalised support to vulnerable adult clients.

Our services include offering support to clients with mental health issues, some physical disabilities, elderly and others in need of support in their own homes.

We also provide:
- befriending, emotional and practical support,
- support with daily living skills,
- promoting recovery and independence, building confidence,
- transport to various appointments,
- medication monitoring
- personal care, socialising and any other similar support that is part of the client’s support plan.

Your role is to give direct assistance and support to vulnerable adults enabling them to achieve greater independence.
Your duties will be:

- To support and help vulnerable people with developing of everyday skills and to encourage them to try out new leisure and social activities by reassuring and promoting independence or by doing it together,
- To introduce a support through programmes that may lead to employment or further training,
- To work together with appropriate others and be readily available to talk things over if there are setbacks,
- To help a person to get the information and resources they need,
- To promote individuality by taking into consideration individual circumstances, needs and wishes,
- To follow support plan and other relevant information and report any changes to your manager,
- To assist our clients with any other needs that they may have as outlined in their support plan and as requested by Management and care-coordinator, and/or other relevant professional or a client.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and with a good understanding of safeguarding, risks, and boundaries.
They need to have the following:
- at least 1 year of experience in support/care setting, and to be able to provide references,
- proof of right to work in UK,
- full UK driving licence with business insurance and access to a car
- DBS enhanced check (cost covered by themselves),
- mandatory training in date or be willing to undertake mandatory training and any other training relevant to their role.

We are looking for serious candidates who are able to provide good quality and client focused social care to our clients. Good sense of humour and understanding that everybody is different and equally important is a must.

We are 24hour service, and your hours of work will be 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
Your working hours are 37.5 hours per week - five days a week.
Any additional hours of working will be discussed with you in advance.
You will be required to work one weekend per calendar month, as well as one weekend day per calendar month.
You will also be paid mileage.
