They are seeking to recruit a Membership Advisor to join their dynamic organisation at a time of significant change and growth.

Job purpose

The generation and conversion of membership enquiries to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for
Honiton Leisure Centre, as determined by EMT and Area Manager. To assist Managers and Team Members to achieve membership retention targets.

Working Arrangements
Full Time - 37 hours per week flexible shift pattern.
To include regular evening and weekend working to support Centre based and outreach marketing and
promotions to generate membership sales. This post will be based in Honiton Leisure Centre, with responsibility for membership enquiry and conversion to memberships. The post will need a clean driving licence and access to a car.

Key Activities
1. Membership Sales: Working with the Centre Manager and team to achieve the membership
sales targets
2. Lead Generation: Maximise their membership potential through effective lead generation and
follow up sales activity.
3. Co-ordination of Membership Sales Training requirements
4. Monitoring: Maintain quality records
5. Corporate Membership Sales
6. Marketing and Promotion Support
7. Have an Agreed Plan to Improve Personal Skills and Knowledge to Achieve the Job Purpose.

Essential requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good numeracy and spreadsheet skills with the ability to plan and monitor targets and budgets.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Able to motivate self and team members to achieve sales.
- Full valid UK driving license and access to a car

Desirable requirements
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 in relevant discipline.
- Leisure related experience in a customer service/sales environment
- Experience of working in a results & performance driven environment.
- Knowledge of trends within the Health and Fitness Industry relating to sales and customer relationship management.
