An exciting opportunity to join a growing company seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee the day to day coordination of various sites valued from £50k - £1 million, predominately around Yorkshire. This is a hands on role which will require the successful candidate to have experience of running multiple projects simultaniously, monitoring costs, following plans and leadership.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Building Services Engineering (HVAC) and be from a mechanical background. We are seeking someone who is positive, enthusiastic and looking for the opportunity to grow and develop with the business.

As the Mechanical Project Supervisor, you will have either SMSTS and or SSSTS. Other industry qualifications and experience will also be beneficial.

The Successful Candidate -
- Will have at least 5 years’ experience of building engineering supervisor activities
- Will have good working. knowledge of building services systems including electrical, controls, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
- Will be proficient at following plans and drawings and conveying the design to others
- Will be willing to be hands on tools when required to ensure deadlines are met
- Will have good IT skills to be competent on Trimble systems

Accountabilities –
- Ensure all project milestones are met as set out by the project manager
- Ensure both company and site health & safety policy and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all company scope of works are completed in line with manufacturers recommendations and company's standards
- Ensure coordination between other contractors, including subcontractors for works involving our scope of works
- Ensure material procurement / requisitions are completed in line with procurement procedures.

Tasks & Responsibilities –
- Liaison with foreman & operatives to explain required works and deadlines
- Procurement of materials specific to tasks in line with purchase order procedures
- Ensure main contractor, site manager and client are kept up to date with works
- Completion of site specific RAMS and COSHH assessments where required
- Ascertain and implement all applicable health & safety procedures
- Monitor quality of all work to ensure work is done correctly, first time
- Carry out snagging inspections and implement actions for rectifications
- Complete site surveys to ascertain access and technical information
- Ensure any hire equipment is kept in good condition and returned when no longer required
- Ensure that materials and plant are stored and secured adequately
