This company are a charitable organisation delivering training in Engineering, Health and Safety, Leadership and Management and Construction from their purpose-built facility in Cambridgeshire
They are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Tutor, to support their current delivery of Apprenticeships and commercial courses in Huntingdon. The ideal candidate will be a qualified tutor with experience in Fabrication and Welding and/or Advanced Machining and have and understanding of the delivery of current apprenticeship frameworks.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Occupational Experience in Engineering including L3 Qualification
- Teaching Qualification (or working towards)
- Understanding of ESFA reporting requirements
- GCSE Grade A-C English and Maths
- Experience of dealing with learners and employers
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Friendly and professional approach
- Experience of working as part of a team
Desirable
- A1 or TAQA
- An understanding of Ofsted and the Common Inspection Framework
- Understanding of Levy payments and implications for funding
- Understanding of new standards model and implications for delivery
A DBS disclosure will be required.
