This company was founded in 2003 with the aim of developing a dedicated fast track prototype, NPI and small volume PCB assembly facility. As a Materials Controller, your main responsibility will be to check in deliveries, mainly electronic components, & kit them into pending jobs for production.
Main Duties:
- Be responsible for receiving and checking all inward deliveries
- Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner
- Liaise with procurement, planning & production teams
- Report any job shortages
- Keep stock management systems up to date
- Ensuring all kits are ready for scheduled start date
- Organise and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant departments as required
Core Requirements:
- Previous experience of stock control required
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (written & verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities while working effectively as part of a team
- Good computer skills with competency in using MSOffice suite and other software as necessary
- Experience in the electronics manufacturing sector would be a major advantage
- Basic level of Maths & English
£18,000-£22,000 p.a. dependent on experience
Working hours, 8.30am-5.00pm
