This company is currently recruiting for a Master Production Scheduler. The role is immediately available. This is a key position in their company, and it is envisaged that the successful candidate, through both summary and detailed planning, will play a significant part in:

- Increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the Company's manufacturing plant
- Enabling the Sales Team to make legitimate delivery commitments to customers
- Giving Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Management the information to plan and control Manufacturing
- Tying overall business planning and forecasting to detailed operations

This role requires the following relevant experience:

- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and more specifically MS Project
- Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing business of
o Setting up a master production schedule to include:
- People entry in order to produce an Overall Available Capacity baseline
- Discussion with all levels of the organisation in order to collect data for entry to the Project Plan
- Data Entry into the Project Plan
- Producing Reports at different levels to show
o Summary Level Reports
o Detailed Level Reports by Project
o Detailed Level Reports by Team / Sub-Team
o Detailed Level Reports by Person
- Interpretation of Reports
- Chasing for Progress Updates on Projects
- Data Entry of Changes to Projects and Issuance of new Reports on a regular basis

Initially the role will focus on planning of people, but will lead naturally into planning of parts etc as the role develops.

Regular Deliverables & Duties will include:

- Generating a rough cut capacity plan to ensure they have enough resource to meet the requirements of the MPS
- Generating Detailed Project Plans for all Projects for
- People capacity (first priority)
- Parts Assembly (to be addressed once the People capacity has been successfully implemented)
- Holding Planning Meetings
- with Project Teams to ensure everything is on target, and address any items which are not on target
- with the Sales Team to ensure that future Sales Orders map into the Capacity Plan
- Monitoring and expediting Projects through
- Drawing Office
- Purchasing
- Production

The role will report to:

The Head of Production but with dotted line responsibilities to other heads around the business who are involved in, and requirements from the Project Plan.
