Job Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key part in the development of the online presence of their brands. From the day to day management of their websites to creating and maintaining our product pages on 3rd party channels, this role will work closely with the business key decision makers to ensure new ranges and marketing plans are aligned through all channels.

Their brands are present on key online channels including EBay, Amazon, Wayfair and Tesco direct each have a unique content management system (CMS).

Therefore, we seek a highly organised individual who is comfortable using and learning a variety of different online systems but also has the marketing savvy to create attractive product pages for their customers. Previous furniture retail industry experience is required

Key Responsibilities:
As Marketplace Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Uploading products to various CMS, including images, pricing, product codes, drop down options and customer facing copy.
- Maintaining product databases & line sheets
- Work with the Head of Marketing to creating product codes and pricing.
- Stock management, working with the team, to make sure we have sufficient stock cover.
- Support planning of sales and promotions throughout the year, in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Updating website homepage images and categories on an on going basis – i.e. key promotional periods/new product launches etc.

Essential skills:
- Strong administrative experience is essential; you will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and be highly competent in IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good basic knowledge of SEO
- Experience of using Content Management Systems (specific training will be given)
- A proactive, can do attitude not afraid to learn or make the occasional mistake!
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate to all levels.
- Well organised, detail conscious, always looking for efficiencies and better ways of doing things.
- Able to work under their own initiative and learn new processes and manage their own workload effectively.
- A flexible team player able to support and integrate within a small, hardworking and friendly team

Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (Required)
- E-Commerce: 2 years (Preferred)
Education: Secondary education (Required)
