Focused on the construction and building materials industries, this company is the fastest growing provider of software that facilitates electronic document transactions. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team, or an experienced Marketing Executive looking for their next career step.

Role Headlines:

This is a hands-on role so they need someone with a ‘can do’ attitude. Key outputs of this role are to build awareness and consideration in the market, and to generate leads to particularly support new business revenue targets.

Occasional travel will be necessary.

A day in the life of a Marketer in this role will involve:

- Executing marketing strategy and managing both outbound and inbound campaigns based on the company’s objectives.
- Working closely with their in-house telesales/telemarketing team, providing them with relevant data and enquiries to follow-up on.
- Working collaboratively with others internally as well as third parties such as their software partners.
- Selecting and liaising with suppliers and agencies to agree activities and campaigns in line with the marketing budget you’ll help to manage.
- Database management, data segmentation and targeting to facilitate direct marketing initiatives.
- Planning and executing social media activity, thought-leadership articles and case study material.
- Overseeing the on-going development of the website.
- Co-ordinating events.
- Analysing the success of telesales/telemarketing and marketing activity to inform future activity.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

You’re likely to have had at least 12 months experience in a similar B2B marketing role with a focus on marketing software solutions. Experience of the construction industry would be ideal, but not essential. And if you have experience of managing a telesales/telemarketing team, this would be an advantage.

They need someone who is confident and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, a strong sense of accountability and the drive to make things happen.

Excellent communication skills and strong numerical ability are essential, along with being able to confidently write and edit copy.

In terms of education, you will ideally be educated to degree level and have earned a marketing qualification.
