This friendly online pet store is busy helping owners make their pets happy from head to tail.

They are just like your pets - friendly, playful and totally one-of-a-kind. That’s because they don’t just deliver your pet food, they get to know you and your little pets, so they can help you to keep them happy from head to tail.

They were founded in 2010 and are based in Leeds, they also work in partnership with Waitrose to create, build and trade their online specialist pet offering.

Job Details:

Are you a bright, funny, ambitious and enthusiastic self-starter? They are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join their small but perfectly formed marketing team. The successful candidate will work closely with their Marketing Manager to drive sales through advocacy, partnership and the production of engaging and meaningful content.

Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to:

- Developing and managing content across multiple channels including their social presence…you will be the voice of the company!
- Working with the marketing team to plan and execute B2C campaign activities
- Writing copy, based on your own keyword research
- Maximising SEO using campaigns and other techniques
- Ensuring that campaign plans for their key suppliers are activated on time and reported on correctly
- Working with Waitrose to ensure the smooth day to day trading and BAU of Waitrose Pet, their white label website in partnership with Waitrose
- The day-to-day monitoring of their affiliate and key partner programme to assist in the continual growth of this channel
Ensuring all creative materials are within brand guidelines
- Thinking creatively and producing content for offline marketing materials
- Identifying opportunities and proposing actions to improve performance across all channels

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- A hunger to succeed – you will take on responsibilities easily and be a proven self-starter
- Experience working on specific SEO campaigns
- A good understanding of social media marketing
- A proactive drive to see projects through from start to finish
- An understating of brand and the ability to shape and adopt their tone of voice
- Great communication skills and strong emotional awareness
- A love of language and a clear but characterful command of English
- An excellent command of grammar, spelling, syntax and vocabulary
- A love of good design and an understanding of how it can be achieved
- A commercial outlook and a love of spreadsheets, data and analysis
- The ability to work with a diverse set of design/production/other agencies to create and produce the best possible work
- A smart, upbeat and friendly personality
- A great sense of humour!
