This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing technology business. This B2B Marketing Executive role is new for the company as they expand their marketing team, and presents a fantastic opportunity to progress a career in marketing, working on diverse and exciting projects and events.

They offer innovative technology across the construction supply chain. They have some top names as customers and although they are currently UK-focused, their solutions span 26 countries across the globe.

Working from their office in Ribchester near Preston, the Marketing Executive will support the Marketing Director in a variety of marketing activities, including events, to help drive sales opportunities and to build awareness of the business, their products and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Event management – this will be a real focus - planning; liaising with third parties; arranging invitations and follow-ups; organising event materials
- Content creation – generating ideas and plans; writing and checking copy for campaigns, website, PPC and other adverts; liaising with our designer
- Production of collateral and direct mailers
- Data – using our CRM system (Zoho) for data segmentation, campaign lists and analysis
- Logging campaign activity and reporting– enquiries; email opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounces etc
- PowerPoint - for customer/prospect presentations or internal meetings
- Research – events; publications; industry news; competitor activity
- Liaising with agencies and third parties
- Working with key stakeholders in the business – data cleanser, telemarketing, sales, product and development

The Candidate

This role would suit someone with experience in marketing and event management and who is looking to take the next step in their career. It offers a great opportunity for someone willing to muck in but who also enjoys real responsibility in order to build a successful marketing career.

- Marketing experience
- Event management experience
- Educated to degree level and/or with marketing qualifications
- Copywriting skills
- Can produce documents using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good attention to detail with high standards
- Effective time management and excellent organisational skills
