This is an opportunity to join a leading wholesale distributor of fire safety equipment, serving the Fire Trade nationally. With over 40 years of experience in the industry and a passionate team to work with, they aim to become the supplier of choice. This role is pivotal in the fulfilment of this vision.

In this challenging and interesting role, you will be working closely with the Marketing Manager in developing, supporting and activating key marketing initiatives that are focused on driving consumer demand for the Company and family of brands that belong to them.

Preferably educated to degree or professional marketing level, you will have 1-2 years marketing experience, ideally in both B2B and B2C, with proficiency in Social Media and Digital Marketing. Main duties will include:
o Managing the Company Website and all DTC Channels, generating and circulating reports. Developing promotional and seasonal strategies, carrying out comparisons.

o Marketing Activation – writing and proofreading marketing copy for both online and print campaigns and publications.

o Digital Marketing Activation – driving and implementing digital marketing initiatives, leading the eCRM program, activating data capture opportunities.

o Product Line Management – supporting the Marketing Manager in the on-going management and communication of the UK product line, managing the product asset library for all product lines. Maintaining in-house displays.

o Sales Support – providing constant support to Sales team and customers.

o QA, Social Media and Consumer Relations – assistance in dealing with consumer enquiries / complaints, managing social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player and able to work with a degree of autonomy. The ability to communicate clearly, confidently and competently is essential.

Creative talent and passion for brands are key attributes you will be expected to possess, combined with flexibility in approach in order to maintain Corporate and brand identity.
Maintaining excellent customer relationships and remaining calm and confident under pressure is most important.

You will need to demonstrate creative and professional competency, brand awareness, engagement and attention to detail, together with accuracy in the recording of information and production of content.
