About the role

As a Marketing Executive you will be an integral part of the team responsible for communicating the benefits of their unique offering to both end consumers and businesses, through a variety of channels.

The role is office based at Biocity Scotland, a large life science park based on the M8 (near Glasgow). You will be working within a small team based at this Biocity site as well as alongside the rest of their team based in London.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Raising awareness of and driving inbound leads through social media platforms
- Assist the creation of integrated campaigns across multiple channels. This could involve planning, writing content, email marketing, social media marketing, tracking performance and reporting
- Getting involved with the organisation of internal and external events, organising the production of display material and collateral as well as logistics
- Liaising with creative agencies to create high quality, on brand materials
- Tracking activity & compiling reports (social, email, web analytics and any other)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand our audience, strategic plans and communication needs

Skills & experience required
- Knowledge and understanding of both B-C and B-B audiences
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
- Good organisational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good team player who is also happy to and has the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written / verbal communications
- Confident to liaise with third parties and creative agencies
- Microsoft Office

Demonstrable knowledge or experience of one or all of the following would be a bonus but not essential:
- Social Media Marketing
- Email marketing
- Digital marketing
- Copywriting
- Content marketing
- Inbound marketing
- InDesign or other design packages
