This provider of investment management services has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join their Guildford office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and updating literature, advertising, direct mail campaigns and presentations. This will include drafting own content as well as editing and proofreading contributions from colleagues and external collaborators. Managing and integrating website content and SEO, social media accounts and online advertising will also form a large part of the role. This includes tracking and reporting customer journeys, new subscribers and conversion rates.

The ideal candidate will likely be a graduate, possibly with a further relevant qualification. They will have relevant marketing experience, preferably within UK financial services, and are likely to have been involved in design, print and production for a busy marketing department. They must be able to demonstrate digital knowledge and experience of maintaining websites, managing email campaigns and using social media in a business context. They should be able to extract and present relevant information clearly and concisely from reporting systems such as Google analytics, interpreting this data in order to make practical recommendations.

The candidate should expect to develop their skills in CRM and data management in order to improve their understanding of customer behaviour and thus target marketing activity more effectively.

Skills Required:

- The successful candidate should be used to meeting deadlines
- Must be able to change priorities at short notice without losing track of individual projects.
- Must have a good command of English
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner suited to a professional business environment.
- Be numerate to the extent that they can apply a common sense interpretation of data such as budget forecasts, although complex mathematical skills are not necessary.

The team is small but has an ambitious marketing programme, and the successful candidate should expect to contribute to a wide variety of activities in addition to their core role. This may include setting up exhibition stands, binding presentations, booking couriers and researching venues to host events: the candidate will be expected to get involved wherever needed and to be flexible in supporting the wider team and the business.

They offer a competitive benefits package which includes 25 days holiday per annum (pro-rata for mid-year starters). On top of this they have discretionary holiday for birthday (1 day per annum), Christmas shopping day (1 day per annum) and moving house day (1 day annum).

They also offer a contributory pension scheme matched by the company (up to 7.5% maximum, giving a 15% contribution in total).

Other benefits include private medical insurance (following successful completion of your probationary period), life assurance, income protection and financial support towards professional qualifications.
