Marketing Executive with Graphic Design Skills - Graduates welcome

Role and Purpose
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with various teams across the business, you will be required to assist in the successful implementation of the Global Marketing Plan for OEM and Aftermarket areas of the business. Creating and updating company literature to showcase products, special offers as well as technical data sheets, cataloguing and advertising across various media platforms whilst upholding Grayson brand values and guidelines. You will also review opportunities to sell new products to existing customers, research territories and identify new targets for the sales team to pursue. You will be responsible for assisting the internal and external sales teams to develop and increase sales within current and potential new markets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Creating, updating and cataloguing company literature including service manuals, adverts, sales literature, etc.
-Implementing marketing plan with support of Marketing Manager
-Creating and posting articles on Social Media, website and E-shots
-Ensuring Customer Database is kept up to date
-Assisting with exhibition planning
-Producing reports as/ when required
-Assisting with management of company website
-General marketing assistance


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Confident user of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop software - Essential
-Previous experience in marketing support/ admin role would be advantageous
-Marketing / Graphic Design Qualification would be an advantage
-Confident with Social Media (Linked In, Twitter, etc.) and creating content/ articles
-Desire to work in a marketing/sales environment, preferably in automotive or engineering sectors
-Language skills would be an advantage
-Good communication skills, including high standard of spoken and written English
-I.T. Literate:
- Confident working knowledge of spreadsheets including graphs and charts
- Knowledge of Power Point and ability to create or modify presentations
- Experience in producing professional documents that will enhance the image of the company
- Experience of databases such as Microsoft Access

- The ability to quickly acquire product/ system recognition and a working knowledge of the products that fit each vehicle type is essential
- You will need to develop the necessary sales/ personal skills to ensure both customers and staff are satisfied
- The ability to see opportunities and communicate through to the sales team


Work Location: Operating from the Headquarters in Tyseley, Birmingham


Working Hours: Standard office working hours are 0800-1700 Monday to Thursday and 0800-1500 Friday; some flexibility will be required
