Your main responsibility in this role is to maintain the website and ensure that it is continually kept up to date. Other tasks to include:
- Merchandising the website
- Assisting with the launch of sales, offers and discounts
- Managing product and seasonal changes
- Facilitating new product launches
- Copywriting across the site
- Uploading and creation of content
- Ensuring SEO best practices are followed
- Supporting the marketing team and purchasing team in other activities
- Ensuring that our category and product data is consistently well organised
Essential Skills:
- Have an eye for design
- Have experience in eCommerce or digital marketing or a comparable professional environment
- Be able to manage a complex & constantly changing workload
- Be meticulous and organised with a compulsion to get things right
- Be able to follow product guidelines, design rules and best practices
- Be able to write copy including product descriptions to an acceptable standard
- Have a desire to develop your skills & a willingness to go that extra mile
Non essential skills:
- Experience with website management
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience managing product data
