This company creates world class products that read tickets, take contactless payments and image and authenticate travel and identity documents. Operating in multiple sectors including Airports and Airlines, Gaming, Hotels and Transportation, the Company has seen rapid and sustained growth over the past decade.

Reporting to their Marketing Manager and working alongside a Graphic Designer, they are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant who will provide support in the delivery of the Company’s marketing activities.

Based in Reading, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career in marketing in a fast-growing business within a team environment. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the busy schedule of exhibitions, as well as taking responsibility for a number of marketing administration tasks.

Responsibilities
- Co-ordination of exhibitions and events
- To pre-build and pack exhibition stands ready for shipping and occasionally to build the stands in person
- Management of all returning exhibition equipment including checking, repairs, replacement and storage
- To act as a central resource for updating product datasheets and distribution to the sales team
- Monitoring of all instances in print and online media
- Produce and print as necessary custom product and users guides as required by the Production Department
- Evaluation of print suppliers for quality and best value
- Co-ordination of the printing of Company literature and business cards

Requirements
- Experience in the use of MS Office products
- Good attention to detail and prioritisation skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Ability to use email marketing systems (or a desire to learn)
- A desire to acquire knowledge of desktop publishing packages e.g. Adobe InDesign
- Experience of utilising social media for sales and marketing campaigns

Desirable
- Marketing qualifications are advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience in marketing desirable

The successful candidate should be willing to work outside of normal office hours from time to time, as well as away from home. The role includes the packing and shipping of transit cases for exhibitions, which weigh up to 30kg.
