This multi award winning tour operator specialises in authentic holidays to Italy, Croatia, Portugal and North Cyprus. Catering to the discerning traveler, they have been creating unforgettable tailor-made holidays for almost 30 years. Their specialist business will continue to expand in new regions and destinations, as the aim is to grow their existing products and be a key leader in the Tailor-made holiday experiences.

Due to such growth plans, they are looking to grow their marketing team to ensure that they continue to deliver a strong marketing presence.

The Role:
- Assisting with the creation and distribution of promotional literature.
- Content changes across the companies two websites
- Roll out social media plan
- Occasional soft design work
- Production of in-house direct mail, and distribution to customers
- Manage the distribution of brochure requests, and follow the companies follow up process
- Management of pre and post-holiday customer communication
- Occasional support the sales team with regards to sales lead follow ups
- Assistance with reactive PR
- Management of the in house digital image library
- Assisting with events
- Liaising with oversees suppliers for product and imagery updates
- Assistance with new product launches
- Internal company communications
- Supporting the Marketing Manager and with projects and activities

The Candidate:

- A focused and driven individual with experience and a passion for marketing.
- Ability to learn and develop extensive product knowledge (training will be provided).
- Enthusiastic and motivational individual who can communicate well at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail
- Confident and friendly personality
- Proactive work approach
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team and individually

Experience:

- Experience working in a previous Marketing Assistant role or a degree in Marketing as full training can be give to the right candidate.
- Familiar with Photoshop and/or InDesign would be advantageous
- Travel industry experience would be advantageous
