This is an opportunity to join an employee owned business providing engineering, design, analysis, project expertise and specialist handling and access equipment to international marine, offshore, subsea and renewable energy markets. The Marketing Assistant will work with the Marketing Manager in supporting the five business streams and executive team to co-ordinate sales and marketing activities and make a positive difference to business results.

Marketing Activities
- The production of digital and print sales collateral and marketing materials
- Championing the use of the company CRM system to drive sales and marketing campaigns
- Assisting in organising and running of events and exhibitions
- Product, marketing and competitor research as required
- Assistance in developing the company brand in its chosen markets
- Preparation of internal and external communications including regular newsletters, case studies and other documents and presentations
- Support to the development and maintenance of the company website
- Reporting of business development activities across the business
- Assistance in preparation of tenders and bid documents

Administration & Research
- Proof reading and checking sales & marketing literature, online and print
- Maintaining corporate and branding guidelines
- Accurate update of the CRM database
- Organisation and filing of marketing collateral
- Management of the company photo library
- Management of the company library of corporate resumes for use in bids and tenders to clients
- Industry, customer and market research as required

Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Marketing / Business degree or similar relevant subject
- Ideally has previous work experience in a busy sales and/or marketing environment
- Ideally has a commercial or engineering oriented background i.e. not from financial services or FMCG

Other job-related requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Logical and accurate approach to tasks and problem solving
- Able to work at speed to meet deadlines
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and graphics software
- Knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and Social Media beneficial
