MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR - LONDON

This organisation which has been around for over 130 years with membership in all types of passenger transport companies, primarily bus and coach companies, throughout the UK is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join its Marketing team.

Based in London, your role is to provide Marketing support to the Chief Executive, Secretary and Development Managers with planning and executing direct mail and advertising campaigns. You will also process new business applications, manage office stationery and products’ brochures/material.

Package includes a starting salary of £19,570 reviewed after satisfactory completion of probationary period, contributory pension scheme, life and income protection insurance and travelcard costs for zones 1 - 6.

Main Duties

- To help plan and execute all marketing campaigns and marketing material in conjunction with the Chief Executive, Secretary and Development Managers.
- To organise and, if requested, attend workplace marketing e.g. bus garages, conferences and seminars.
- To ensure all staff are alert to marketing opportunities and are appropriately trained to deal with them.
- To produce weekly information for the Development Team and ad-hoc management information for the Board and Committee meetings.
- To assist with general enquiries of a factual nature from members over the telephone and/or letter/email.
- To process applications for membership from new and existing members including the preparation of all relevant correspondence and issuing of policy documents.
- Assistance to the Development Managers and to help support the organisation's introducers.
- To provide general administrative assistance for Chief Executive and Secretary.
- Responding to members’ requests for information about the Society’s products.
- To monitor office stationery and product brochures/material and place orders as & when necessary to maintain stock levels.

Liaison with:

Staff, marketing agencies, stationers, designers, printers and members.
