This company markets and sells OTC pharmaceutical and toiletry branded products through all trade channels. It carries this groups owned brands but also markets, sells and distributes third party brands.

As a company they may not be familiar to many but its brands certainly are. Their range of brands is impressive and covers pharmacy-led medicines, including iconic, market-leading brands Ibuleve topical analgesic, Bazuka for verrucas, Otex ear care and Freederm for spots and acne; innovative general sales licence medicines such as 4head for headaches, Adios slimming tablets and Dentinox baby medicines; plus mainstream toiletries such as Dentyl mouthwash, Blistex lip care, Mum deodorant, Fenjal body care and Astral moisturiser.

As a medium-sized family-owned company their lack of bureaucracy and structure encourages autonomy and rapid decision-making within a fully supportive environment. The Marketing department is the central function within the company and provides information and support across the whole business. You'll be working with their key brands; Freederm, Ibuleve, Bazuka, Otex and Iglu under the supervision of one Brand Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Develop an understanding of all relevant brands; their modes of action, key active ingredients and key competitor categories.
- Maintain online brand files, updating and filing of brand information and competitor advertising.
- Maintenance and circulation of the following reports;
- Monthly Store Check Report
- Email out Diomed Daily Sales
- Weekly EPOS Overview
- Administering and distributing monthly sales forecast
- Input monthly sales statistics, review and circulate to Brand Team and client.
- Keeping the relevant BMs fully informed of action taken by copying in on all appropriate correspondence
- Assist Marketing department with preparation of presentations as required and appropriate.
- Provide cover for Customer Service during Holiday and periods of sickness
- Copy checking - essential eye for detail - at various stages and circulating with relevant personnel.
- Assist BM with month end reports and Monthly Business Review
- Assist BM with management of Trade PR; liaising with publications and booking insertions.
- Assist BM with development of POS
- Management of Annual and Bi-Annual Product Directories; C&D, Counter Intelligence and PAGB OTC Guide
- Co-ordination of materials and stock for HV exhibitions
- Liaison with Trade Marketing Executive in relation to media activity, media updates, and trade promotion activity requirements, i.e. copy, logos, artwork, updating promotional calendars etc.
- Co-ordination with Warehouse and Sales Admin, re: incoming marketing materials, ensuring relevant personnel are aware of quantities, codes and delivery dates.
- Raising purchase requisitions, to be counter-signed by BM for each job
- Co-ordination of the trade PR
