This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company that undertakes social and market research for the public sector across the UK. They employ around 50 people and offer attractive employment conditions within a large, friendly central Swansea office.

They have a rare opportunity for a Social Researcher - Full Time (Swansea). This would suit a good communicator, and someone who is flexible, organised and able to effectively prioritise between different tasks.

Initially, the post-holder will be expected to provide the assistance and support necessary to enable research projects to be successfully completed, but will develop to take full responsibility for their own project portfolio. Whilst a range of different tasks will be undertaken, the person appointed will be expected to manage projects and liaise with clients. The person appointed will also be responsible for designing questionnaires, authoring written reports, ensuring that they accurately reflect the research findings, and using background secondary research to set results in a wider context.

Whilst a range of different tasks will be undertaken, the person appointed may be responsible for:
- Project management, to include liaising with clients
- Undertaking primary and secondary research including design of suitable questionnaires
- Authoring and delivering written reports and presentations
- Having regard for their quality and information security policies and procedures

Experience or an interest in public sector policy development or social research, with particular reference to local government, health, housing, emergency services or planning would be advantageous.

There is scope for the person appointed to develop their skills and experience beyond the role of Researcher to Senior Researcher, and the company will provide appropriate training to facilitate this.
