This company is looking for either a skilled Manual Machinist or CNC Machinist. They are a small busy engineering company with full order books, they support engineers from 1st tier automotive sectors, aerospace and other industries, specialising in highly specified tooling offering precision engineering. The role is varied and will include dealing with all sections of the company.
THE ROLE;
- Full time, permanent position, holiday pay and pension, possibility of overtime during the week rated at time and a third, overtime on Saturday rated at time and a half
- Experienced Manual Machinist - Engineering HNC or equivalent / time served apprentice trained
- Automotive or Aerospace background preferred
- Multi-disciplined machining experience and Milling essential
- Experience with Fagor controls and a clear understanding of geometrics tolerances a strong advantage
- Experience in CAD/CAM a bonus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings essential
- Ability to problem solve - tooling, programming or work holding issues
Working on a permanent contract, 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm, overtime available. A total of 33 days holiday per annum
The role can offer some training or a willingness to learn new skills.
