Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage, maintain and improve the group quality and environmental management systems by adhering to best practices, programs, policies, procedures, audits, trainings and management systems to drive improved quality and compliance within the business operations.

Responsibilities

- Maintain the group business management system conforming to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015;
- Plan and manage the company internal auditing schedule;
- Record, report and control management system non-conformities and corrective actions;
- Facilitate external audits to maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification;
- Maintain accurate environmental aspect assessments;
- Schedule, manage and chair the quality and environmental management review meetings;
- Maintain accurate information about the compliance performance of environmental legislation on central database systems;
- Deliver periodical return of data to appropriate agencies in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Execute and report to the leadership team on the performance measurement of the quality and environmental management systems;
- Active encouragement of continual improvement through the identification of opportunities and by demonstrating best practice.

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Management Systems Auditor qualification (IRCA, IEMA, BSI) is essential

Additional requirements

- Full, clean driving licence as some driving will be required in this role.
