It is an exciting time to join this business – it is anticipated that this role will grow with their business. They are mostly a new and developing finance team and there will no doubt be opportunity for the right candidate to shape this role from the outset.
As Management Accountant, reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering pertinent and timely management information to the various stakeholders, as well as providing daily operational support within the Finance department.
Full ownership of balance sheet, including prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
- Management Accounting
- Budgeting and forecasting, cash forecasting
- Regulatory accounting such as VAT returns
- Supporting and mentoring other members of the team
- Ad Hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum three years financial and management accounting experience
- A thorough knowledge of double entry, P&L, Balance Sheet (including Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets and Control Accounts)
- Commercial, numerical and analytical
- Advanced systems knowledge and strong Excel skills
- A can-do attitude with a flexible approach, a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
- An influential team player
- ERP experience, preferably Epicor
- Manufacturing Experience
- Part Qualified or Studier, preferably CIMA
- FT Salary between £30k and £38k pa, plus benefits, dependent on experience and qualification.
- Study can be supported.
- 8.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday
